These products are not X10, Insteon or ZWave enabled but they fit in to a smart home by having lights automatically turn on when you walk in to the room, or having the lights turn off and on automatically at sunset/sunrise. The Leviton anywhere switch also solves a previously complex problem of adding a 2nd light switch to another room entrance without adding wires.
