Telephone Entry Intercom

Telephone Entry Intercom systems and multi user intercoms are used for apartment buildings, condomininum apartments, offices and gated communities.  The MDU intercom systems install at the front entrance or lobby and can communicate with tenants by way of telephone, smart phone app, VOIP or SIP integration depending on the model used. 

These entry and gate intercom systems can be used in new or retrofit applications and can include access control as well as communication. 

Telephone based models will connect to a standard POTS telephone line and will call the tenant at the number programmed for their unit. 

VOIP based models use a (paid) voice over IP Internet connection for communication.

The Doorbird multi tenant intercom system is Internet based and will send a push alert to the tenant iOs or Android smart phone when a guest arrives.  Doorbird also includes video in their intercom system.

The Paxton IP Video Intercom and Access Control solution communicates with tentants using an indoor intercom station using network wiring, and also includes full access control functions.  It can be used stand alone or as part of a larger access control system.
