Aartech at Security Canada Central 2024 in Review
We would like to extend a warm thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at Security Canada Central last week! It was an absolute pleasure to connect and have some great conversations with familiar faces and new friends.
It's always a fun experience to learn and observe the latest trends at these shows - there's so much to see and so many to talk to!
Door Control
This year, we noticed that Door Control was our rising star, thanks to our latest brand, ZKTeco - it's so new it's not even on our site yet! Security
We also saw a lot of interest in Alula's automated security offerings - Alarm meets automation all in one box! Alula is conveniently a customizable plug-and-play system that works with cellular, ZWave, or WiFi. Essentially, just plug and play, push the program button, pull the battery protective strip, the sensor is registered with a beep, and you're good to go! No separate sirens or batteries are required, although we do recommend using a proper keypad - what if you forget your phone or send a neighbour instead? Of course, the Uno alarm panel also had a chance to shine. This panel took the industry by storm as it is designed to fill a hole left by a particular beloved discontinued model that made waves throughout the security sector. The Uno can be self-monitored or pro-monitored and is expandable to 128 zones, with optional wireless sensor support. UNO uses an IP connection out of the box and supports optional LTE cellular. The accompanying Uno Touchpad was recently launched with a sleek interface that pairs perfectly with the alarm panel and other Uno devices.

Focusing on new products and brands is great, but the topic we really enjoyed in all of our conversations was branding.
