Leviton has redisigned the traditional breaker panel, creating a smarter, safer solution. The Leviton Load Center has been designed from the start to offer easier installation, better breaker technology, ehnanced safety, and a better looking panel.
The Leviton Load Center wiring is terminated at the panel rather than the circuit breaker, allowing it to be wired without any breakers installed with lots of room to work. Circuit breakers can be installed at final closing rather than at time of wiring, so they won't be stolen or damaged during construction. This leaves panels free of excess wires and pigtails, with easy access, installation and inspection.
New Magnetic-Hydraulic breaker technology trips reliabily at the correct load, even in extreme temperature ranges. While regular breakers can trip 50% to 200% from their designation in extreme hot or cold, Leviton Magnetic-Hydraulic breakers maintain their trip point across the temperature range.
GFCI and AFI breakers feature patented reset lock out for safety so they cannot be turned back on until the fault is corrected. Colour indicators make breaker status obvious at a glance, while intuitive LEDs on AF/GF breakers clearly show status and fault condition.
