Omnibus can be used in homes, businesses and commercial properties to control lights, fans, shades, shutters, pumps and more. Omnibus uses DIN rail mounted controllers that are mounted in an electrical room, wiring closet, or control point. The controllers are then connected to in room wall mounted keypads via low voltage CAT5e/CAT6 cable. Wireless Omnibus wall keypads are also available. Wiring is flexible as it may be start, hub, spoke or daisy chain or a combination allowing for centralized or decentralized installation.
For lighting control, Omnibus is compatible with incandescent, LED, CFL, fluorescent, halogen and electronic low voltage loads in 110-120VAC, 220-240AC.
Omnibus controls are functional and elegant and may be used on their own, or integrated with Leviton automation systems, touch screens and apps. Omnibus can even be controlled by third party momentary contact switches for more flexibility.
