SHIPPING

We will ship by the most appriate courier based on the detination and order size.  We typically use UPS, Purolator and Canada Post as well as local or LTL couriers.  See our shipping page for more information.

MISSING PIECES, LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

It is your responsibility to inform us of any shipping damage or missing items within 24 hours of receiving the package. Notification beyond 24 hours may result in the claim being denied. Customers outside Canada will be responsible for any applicable customs, duties and/or taxes.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

We attempt to be as accurate as possible, however we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on this site is error-free. It is your responsibility to ensure the product is suitable for your application and to review the specifications and requirements provided by the vendor/manufacturer. If a product offered is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct errors and omissions.  In the rare case of an error, additional freight required or verification required we will contact you prior to shipping the order.  Orders are not binding until reviewed and invoiced.

SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE OF CANADA

When you import product from outside your country, the importer (you) is responsible for any applicable customs fees, duties, taxes or other charges that might be levied by your government or customs agents and collected by them or the courier.  We do not charge these fees and can't control whether any fees will be due or how much they may be.  You are also responsible to ensure the product(s) meet any local requirements for their use or installation.proceed with the order.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Aartech Canada will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or products purchased from this site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages. Product quality and warranty is strictly the responsibility of the manufacturer.  We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed sever able and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.  We will not be responsible for any other costs including but not limited to installation, removal, warranty handling, defects, installation errors or damage caused by the product purchased or installed,

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with the user of this site, products purchased from this site or anything relating to business conducted with Aartech Canada shall be Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

We want you to be completely satisfied, so Aartech Canada offers a flexible return policy.  Please visit the return page for complete details. Returns MUST be pre-approved, and must be returned complete with original documentation, accessories and packaging in original condition.  

DEFECTIVE RETURNS & WARRANTY

Please fill out our return request form and provide the part number, date of purchase and invoice number to receive a return authorization (RMA) number prior to returning any defective merchandise. Returns sent back without authorization will be returned to the sender at his/her expense.  Defective product will be repaired or replaced with a similar model or in some cases we may refer your case to the manufacturer for support at our discretion. Some manufacturers (eg. D-Link) require the end user to deal with them directly for warranty support, and we will honour their procedures where applicable.

REFUSED and UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS

Any refused shipments or orders that cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete address, missing buzzer codes, no-one available to sign, duties/customs fees/taxes owing, etc. that are returned to us by the courier will be refunded once they are safely received back at our warehouse, less a 15% restocking fee and the cost of any shipping, handling or customs fees. Special orders, custom builds, software and Covid related or health supplies will not be refunded.
